The Computing Center (MBCC -Building 74) is supported by the Business and Computing Division. The goal is to assist OCC students with access to campus computers, printing services, wireless networking, and other digital resources and tools.
At the Computing Center, students will find:
PCs and MACs with a variety of application software.
Scanners connect to both PCs and MACs and are free of charge.
Printers (black/white and color -- are available at a nominal cost of $.05 and $.50 respectively).
Copier (black/white and color -- are available at a nominal cost of $.10 and $.50 respectively).
Headphones, USB drives, Calculators, Optical Drives are available for checkout with Student ID card.
Student Subscription to Office 365
Congratulations! As a student at Orange Coast College you are entitled to a free subscription to Office 365. Share and co-edit your schoolwork using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote in real time—anywhere, any time, on any device. With 1 TB of OneDrive storage, you can keep all your work online for easy access. As an added benefit, you may install Office 2016 on your personal computer (Mac and Windows) and mobile device (iOS and Android) to work locally or when you are disconnected from the internet. You can install Office on as many as 5 devices.
To access Office 365 go to https://login.microsoftonline.com. Enter your college-issued email address (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org) and password.
Staff members are available in the Computing Center to answer your questions and help you gain and recover access to your
Student Network Account which is used to access MyOCC, Canvas, computers on campus, to pay for printing and photocopying, and to connect to the campus wireless network.
