Audrey Wilson

Audrey Wilson began her training in ballet, modern and jazz dance at Orange Coast College.  In 1993, Audrey earned an MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine.  After graduation she moved to New York where she continued her dance and Pilates training, and was certified to teach classic Pilates by Romana Kryzanowska.  Audrey was introduced to the Lindy Hop in the 1980’s.  She went on to study Lindy Hop in New York and became a protégé of legendary dancer/choreographer, Frankie Manning.  Audrey has contributed to the resurgence of the Lindy Hop in Southern California through her teaching and through local events that she has produced.  She was nominated for the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame in 2010 and 2012.  Over the years, Audrey’s dance and Pilates teaching experience includes numerous universities, colleges, high schools, and dance intensives.  She is currently teaching at Orange Coast College and Chapman University. www.audreyspilates.com or www.audreydancing.com
