Getting Started with Research in the Library (Support during COVID-19)

Have your classes gone online? Are you unsure how to get started searching for resources in the library? Then this Getting Started guide is for you.

The Library will be closed until further notice, 

but reference chat (the "word bubble" icon in the lower right of this page) is still available during regular Library hours of operation, so if you have a question, ask a librarian. Please continue to check this page and OCC's COVID-19 Update page for updates in this fast moving situation. Meanwhile, all of our electronic resources are available! Check the Databases A-Z page for access.

More cancellations and notices:

  • The due date of items due this week are now going to be due on April 4th. Check this page for updates.
  • Virtual reference is available in the icon in the lower right of the screen, from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
    Overdue fines and fees accruing during until April 4th are waived.
  • In-Person library workshops are cancelled until further notice.
