Newly Accepted Int'l Students
Congratulations on your recent acceptance!  We are pleased you will be joining us.  Please be watching your email for the Post-Acceptance Checklist.  The Post-Acceptance Checklist contains all the instructions for what you should do next and all the links you need.  Please follow the steps in order.

The Post-Acceptance Checklist for Initial Students is here in case you lost it. Click cancel if a pop up box appears and it will load.

Please carefully read all information we send you as much of it is critical to your immigration status and your success at OCC.

We will send new initial students their acceptance letter and I-20 by regular postal mail or Express Shipping, as you choose.   Transfer students receive their I-20's in the first few weeks of classes, unless they are travelling abroad before classes start.

If you want to use the E-ship Global service for DHL or FedEx Express shipping, please create an account on their site. Your credit card will be charged for the shipping fees. You will need your OCC student ID number, mailing address, Email address and phone number and credit card information. This service allows students to receive their documents in 3-5 business days. If you experience any difficulties in registering and processing the shipment, please use the "HELP" link on their website or contact support@eshipglobal.com.

It is important to enroll in at least 12 units for the fall and spring semesters as soon as enrollment begins (6 units for the summer semester). You may refer to the MyOCC Reference Guide and the first semester Course Selection Guide to help you choose and enroll in your classes.

The report date in item 5 of your I-20 is the date you must arrive in the U.S. and report to our office by.  If you do not get your visa in time to arrive by this date, please contact our office. Special authorization for later arrival requires a detailed written request explaining your situation and Director approval.

There are many ways you can familiarize yourself with the campus before you arrive:
