On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Orange Coast College's on-campus food pantry the Pirates' Cove partnered with the OCC Cares program to hold their annual Thanksgiving food distribution. Holiday food was provided at no cost to more than 350 families.
Students had a choice of turkey, whole chicken, holiday groceries, pies and produce or a fully cooked family-sized boxed meal created by OCC food and beverage faculty Chef Alexandra Yates and Chef Amy Wilson along with students from the food service management program.
