Since 1947, OCC has been a leader in higher education locally, nationally, and globally. For generations, the College has helped students achieve their academic and professional aspirations, creating opportunities that extend well beyond the classroom and into families and communities. This legacy reflects not only OCC’s strong academic programs and world-class facilities, but also the dedication and care demonstrated daily by our faculty, classified professionals, and administrators.

Students benefit from a campus that continues to evolve to meet the needs of our community. Our state-of-the-art facilities include the College Center, Student Union, Community Planetarium, Kinesiology and Athletics Building, and the Literature & Languages/Social & Behavioral Sciences Building. Our new Chemistry Building features expanded laboratory capacity, interactive technology, and individual student workstations, while the OCC Waterfront Campus, located in Newport Beach, delivers Professional Mariner training, sailing instruction, and comprehensive academic programs, with instruction taking place along the Southern California coast.

OCC is also proud to be the first community college in Southern California to offer large-scale on-campus housing through The Harbour, supporting student success both in and out of the classroom.
