Orange Coast College to Host Chemistry Building Topping-Off Ceremony on Oct. 19

Orange Coast College will host a topping-off ceremony for the College’s new Chemistry Building on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 11:30 a.m.

The ceremony will include a signing of the final beam by campus and community members.

When complete, the Chemistry Building will serve multiple programs and feature updated instructional technology and infrastructure systems. The two-story building will include laboratories configured to accommodate larger class sizes and increase lab capacities with individual student workstations. The 43,786-square-foot project will feature lecture halls, faculty offices, a resource library, and additional meeting spaces.
