Orange Coast College presents the grand opening of the Coast Collective on March 22nd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in its newly designated spot on the first floor of the College Center.
The Coast Collective Co-Lab is a program designed to provide a platform for students in the OCC Fashion Program to showcase and sell their merchandise while developing entrepreneurial skills. It is an exciting addition to the OCC campus. All students are encouraged to visit the Co-Lab and participate in this thriving creative community.
"Coast Collective is committed to building on the success of The Box Pop-up Shop concept by bringing high-quality retail laboratory spaces to the OCC campus,” said OCC Fashion Department Program Coordinator Lauren Becker. "Our dynamic and flexible space will be able to host a range of events, including talks from industry experts, opportunities for students to showcase their skills and talents, and collaborations with brands."
The Coast Collective Co-Lab space will offer fashion students the opportunity to create products and conduct market research for their brands, allowing them to gain valuable insights into their businesses.
"We aim to support the Fashion curriculum and elevate student work, as well as to host groups from both the campus and the wider community," said Becker.
