various pieces of ceramics artworkCampus and community members are invited to do their holiday shopping at OCC’s 25th Annual Mudslingers Holiday Ceramic Sale on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on both days and will be in the College's Art Center, room 113. Parking for the event is available in Lot D on Merrimac Way.

Shoppers can explore hundreds of unique items, including functional, sculptural and decorative pieces, all created by intermediate and advanced OCC ceramics students. All proceeds from the sale will benefit students and the Mudslingers Ceramic Club.

“The students have worked very hard to produce work that is special for this year,” says Kevin Myers, head of the OCC ceramics program. “Their work is technically very good, and the amount of work is overwhelmingly positive."

The OCC Mudslingers Holiday Ceramic Sale has been an exclusive and well-run event since 1999 when Mudslingers became the official name for the ceramics club on campus. However, students have been selling their ceramic works at OCC for over 40 years.
