Orange Coast College student dancers will perform everything from modern to jazz to hip-hop routines during the College’s Fall Student Dance Showcase on Wednesday, December 4 at 7 p.m. in the Robert B. Moore Theatre.

The Fall Student Dance Showcase serves an informal end-of-semester presentation featuring classroom material and works in progress. This year’s program includes a wide range of dance styles, such as modern, jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, tap, Middle Eastern, African, Latin, and Polynesian. There will be 18 short works, each lasting under five minutes. Additionally, OCC Dance is excited to include a performance from its dual enrollment program at Huntington Beach High School.

“This concert is a feel-good community event where our entire department comes together to showcase what they have learned,” says dance professor Rachel Berman. “Student dancers get to celebrate themselves and each other. For many this is their first, and perhaps only, performance experience. It can be very exciting!”

Tickets are available for purchase at OCC Tickets for $10.
