The Orange Coast College Chamber Singers and OCC Chorale invite you to join them for an evening of choral favorites and exciting new discoveries at the Fall Choral-Vocal Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert B. Moore Theatre.

The Chamber Singers, fresh off their latest Carnegie Hall performance, will present an eclectic program featuring works by the Romantic master Johannes Brahms and Mozart contemporary Marianna Martines. Audiences can also look forward to a rousing Puerto Rican folk song among other selections.

The Chorale will perform a diverse repertoire that includes Reena Esmail’s "TaReKiTa" and Jacob Narverud’s contemplative and beautiful "In the Silence." Additionally, talented students from the OCC vocal program will enhance the performance with solos and small-group numbers ranging from classical standards to popular Broadway and pop hits.

Eliza Rubenstein will direct the Chamber Singers, while Kelly Self will direct the Chorale.

"Our tradition each fall is to offer a program that has something for everyone — music from every era, songs from around the world, solos alongside choral numbers," says Rubenstein. "We hope you'll come enjoy the selections our students have been working on these past few weeks!"

Tickets for this exciting evening are just $10 and can be purchased through the OCC Tickets website.
