July 7, 2020 Update

Tuesday, July 7, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

We are deeply concerned with the guidance issued yesterday by the United States Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement that significantly impact our international student community. Our commitment to our international students is steadfast and we are currently working on options to allow them to stay at OCC and complete their educational programs. Please note that we have communicated directly with our students to provide support and answer questions on this new guidance.

At Orange Coast College, our international students have been part of our global community for many years and have had a significant positive impact on the college community. More importantly, international students contribute greatly to the vibrancy of the educational experience for all students at OCC.

If you have students that have questions, please direct them to the Global Engagement Center at occinternational@cccd.edu. Thank you!
