Dear Colleagues,
This week, we excitedly welcomed students back to campus for another academic year at OCC. As we end this first week and start the Labor Day weekend, I want to express my appreciation for your work in welcoming students back to our classrooms, departments, and offices.
As I walked around campus, there was palpable excitement in the air. Watson Hall buzzed with activity as our phenomenal, classified professionals, faculty, and managers assisted students. Students purchased textbooks at the bookstore, and our food services crew in the College Center’s dining facility provided delicious meals and snacks to eager students just to name a few. Thank you to all who staffed the Welcome Tables helping our students navigate their way around campus.
What an exciting and uplifting Flex Day and great fun with our 75th Anniversary drone photo! I sincerely appreciate the Flex Committee's incredible collective work in planning another successful day filled with inspiration and learning sessions. If you were not able to join the State of the College Session, you may watch the video.
