This week, we welcomed thousands of students to the Spring semester with enthusiasm, care , and dedication. Please know that I appreciate your dedication to fostering a caring and supportive environment across the campus — classrooms, departments, offices, and campus spaces. Notably, our student enrollment remains consistent compared to Spring 2024.
As we continue our commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement, I encourage you to review the third draft of the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER). Your reflections on our successes, innovations, and areas for growth are invaluable. Please take a moment to review.
Next week, we will launch the Personal Assessment of the Campus Environment (PACE) survey, conducted every two years to assess employee satisfaction and workplace culture in key areas such as supervision, student focus, institutional structure, and teamwork. Past results have led to meaningful changes, including the creation of our “Student and Employee Engagement” value/goal and greater involvement of classified professionals in participatory governance. The survey, sent from the Office of the President, will remain open until February 28, 2025—your participation is essential.
