As we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month this May, I invite you to join me in recognizing and honoring the strength, resilience, and diversity of the AANHPI community within our Coast District and across the nation.
This month, OCC’s AANHPI Student Achievement Program is hosting a series of events to celebrate the AANHPI Heritage Month. The main event will be the AANHPI Heritage Month Celebration on May 19, showcasing the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of the AANHPI communities. Please

In the Fall 2025 Semester, the new AANHPI Center will be located at Clark Center and will provide dedicated programming focused on AANHPI heritage, fostering a sense of belonging for our students.
Please join me in celebrating our AANHPI community's diverse experiences by attending the many events planned throughout the month.
