BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR – SPRING 2025
When: Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 12 (7:00 PM both nights)
Where: Robert B. Moore Theatre
The BMFF World Tour features an international selection of films that present a vast range of outdoor adventures and portraits, including climbing, mountain expeditions, remote cultures and the world’s last great wild places!
Each night will offer a different film selection. A complete list of films will be available in February.
Admission: $16 for advance tickets; $20 at the door; $10 for OCC students with current ID. Tickets will be available in February to purchase online through our campus events page.

FRIENDS SPRING BOOK SALE – APRIL 22 & 23, 2025!
The Friends of the Library will host a spring book sale on Tuesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 23. Tuesday hours are 9:00-10:00am for FOTL members/OCC students and 10:00am-3:00pm for everyone. Wednesday hours are 9:00am-3:00pm. The last two hours of the sale on Wednesday afternoon will culminate with "2 dollars a bag" (1:00-3:00pm). A variety of books will be available from bestsellers, romance, and mysteries to science, art, history and technology. Most books sell for $1.00. Anyone may join the Friends of the Library prior to the book sale to take advantage of the one hour "pre-sale" exclusive for Friends members/OCC students. The sale will be held in the Library Lecture Room near the front entrance (room 112). Friends of the Library Book Store
The Friends of the Library's used bookstore is located in the library lobby! The store is open during regular library hours. We offer used books that cover a wide range of subjects. Prices vary from $.25 to $2.00 depending on the type and age of the item being sold. A full list of prices is posted in the store. Please come check out our inventory!
The library is happy to accept donations of books and DVDs. We have an outside donation bin in parking lot E on Merrimac Way (between Harbor & Fairview). This drop box is located in the far corner of the parking lot adjacent to the Library and Lewis Center. Donations can be placed in the bin anytime 24/7. Tax receipts are available on request by contacting Carl Morgan (cmorgan@occ.cccd.edu). Here is a link for OCC maps and directions to campus.
