TAKE HONORS COURSES RIGHT AWAY AND ENROLL IN THE HONORS PROGRAM EARLY.
Honors courses are open to all students, whether or not they are enrolled in the OCC Honors Program. Our Honors courses are available to any student who wants to dive in to a particular field of study and earn credit that may be needed later for Honors Transfer Certification and Completion.
Early enrollment in the Honors Program helps us keep you informed about special opportunities and deadlines, and monitor your progress toward certification and completion. Begin by requesting the information and application you'll need in order to apply (see link below for "Online Orientation"). When you receive our email with the application, start by fully acquainting yourself with Honors Program benefits and enrollment criteria. Then, take the Orientation Quiz and submit your application with the required documentation. You are urged to meet with an Honors Counselor before or as soon after enrolling in the Honors Program as possible.
