- Applicants should be a child of a current or former member of the United States military. This includes the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
- Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident.
- Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year.
- Graduating high school seniors who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply.
- Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
- Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Study.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.

- Be enrolled or accepted in an accredited college, university or vocational/trade school approved by the U.S. Department of Education for participation in federal aid programs.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and remain in good standing with the school.
- Not be a graduate or professional student.
- Not be a veteran or a member of the National Guard, Reserves or other military branch.
- Be considered a dependent of the Airman/Guardian for federal student aid purposes.

Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship Fund |

To qualify for our Education Assistance Program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Age Requirement: Students must be 24 years of age or younger.
- Military Affiliation: All children of officers are eligible. Officer parents are required to have a paid MOAA membership if their child is selected for our program. Children of active duty or retired enlisted personnel are eligible as well. However, children of former enlisted personnel are unfortunately not eligible for our program. "Former enlisted" refers to individuals who have been discharged or separated from the military and are no longer serving.
- Academic Requirement: Students must have a cumulative high school or college GPA of 3.0 or higher. (Graduating high school seniors may apply)
- College Enrollment Status: Accepted students of our program must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college, university, 2 year accredited program, or trade school. Our program does not provide funding for those enrolled in medical school, law school, or pursuing any postgraduate degree.
Students who are unable to meet the GPA or age requirements are welcome to apply and will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
