Do you dream of working as an artist for a film or game studio creating the worlds we are entertained by in popular culture? The Entertainment Art certificate program trains students in the skills for the pre-production phase of world building for various entertainment industries. Known as Visual Development in some fields, these artists design the characters, props, vehicles and environments that make up the worlds we see on screen. Students start by taking foundation courses in traditional and digital art, then move up to advanced media skills which prepare them for focused classes in Visual Development. Electives in the program include Figure Composition, Digital Sculpture, 2D and 3D Animation, and more.

Check out the requirements in the OCC digital catalog.
