California Residency
California state law requires that residency classifications shall be determined for tuition purposes for each student at the time applications for admission are accepted and whenever a student has not been in attendance for more than one semester. The initial residency classification is determined based on the answers provided when the student applies for admission. Non-resident students looking to be reclassified as a California resident may file the Statement of Residence form to request a review of their residency status. Statement of Residence Form along with two proofs must be submitted by the Friday of the third week of the term in which you are seeking reclassification.
