IT'S NEVER TOO EARLY TO LEARN ABOUT COLLEGE
The Future Pirate Team works with K-12 and community-based partners to promote career and educational opportunities to students and their supporters. OCC is dedicated to increasing access to higher education and preparing students for success through K-12 outreach and community partnerships.
Presentations
Our most commonly requested presentation is our "Why OCC?" presentation where we go over why Orange Coast College is right for you. The presentation features everything from our one-of-a-kind facilities to our unique and diverse offering of classes. We also have a "Why Community College?" presentation that helps students understand the benefits of attending a community college.
Workshops
Currently, we offer application workshops. These workshops involve our team coming to your classroom or event and guiding prospective students through the application process, step-by-step. This is a highly requested service as it allows us to troubleshoot application issues as they occur.
Tabling
We also offer tabling, where we come to your school or location and set up a table with information and resources about our college. This allows prospective students to drop at their convenience to learn about our school and get their questions answered.

Join us for our annual Educational Partnership Conference
Formerly known as the High School Counselor Breakfast, our annual Educational Partnership Conference (EPC) offers our school partners the opportunity to connect with OCC administrators, faculty, and staff. Our in-person event offers attendees the opportunity to attend a resource fair, find out important updates, and hear various presentations about OCC programs and services.
