ASOCC Sponsored Housing
The Associated Students of Orange Coast College (ASOCC) have sponsored temporary housing for up to one semester at the Harbour for OCC students who are currently facing housing insecurity. Eligibility for the program includes enrollment in a minimum of 6 units, have a FAFSA or CA Dream Act on file, receive the CA Promise Grant (CCPG), and have paid the OCC College Service Charge and Student Health Fee. Eligible students must be in good standing at the College.
To request support, a student must be referred by the Basic Needs Care Team. Each request is subject to availability, review, and approvals. Currently there are only two beds available for this purpose.
Housing Financial Assistance at the Harbour
OCC provides financial support to eligible students to stay at The Harbour at OCC. The Housing Assistance Program is a year to year program for current students. Eligibility for the program includes CA residency or AB540, full-time enrollment (12 or more units), have a FAFSA or CA Dream Act on file, have a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $0 or less, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Shower and Locker Rooms at OCC
Orange Coast College Shower and Locker Facilities are available for students enrolled in OCC courses. The locker rooms, located in the Kinesiology & Athletics Building and the Gym Annex Building, can be accessed during the operating hours - Monday - Friday from 8am -5pm.
