Transportation assistance in the form of a semester gas card or parking pass is available for to OCC students experiencing financial challenges. Please complete the Basic Needs Request; a Basic Needs team member will then reach out to you and begin the process to receive this resource. Please note, this should be not be used as a cost-savings strategy, and cannot replace Financial Aid resources.

Orange Coast College Students Ride the OC Bus FREE!

With unlimited rides on all OC Bus local fixed routes, it's easy to hop aboard for school, work, shopping. Relax and ride safe, comfortable air-conditioned buses while avoiding parking costs, high gas prices, and traffic hassles and contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment. 

  • All full‐time, part‐time, and non‐credit enrolled students are eligible.
  • Unlimited rides on all 53 OC Bus local fixed routes.
  • Download the OC Bus App to your smartphone at OCC's College Pass at OCTA
  • To create your account, you must use your registered ORANGE COAST COLLEGE email address. Your pass will appear in the "My Ticket" section.
  • Don’t have a smartphone? Contact OCC Basic Needs Center via email at occbasicneedscenter@cccd.edu or by phone at (714) 432-6492, and we’ll assist you in getting a physical bus pass.

Getting your mobile Student Adventure Pass is as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Download the Metrolink Mobile app
  2. Register an account using your school email.
  3. Verify your account via the confirmation email (check your spam folder) and you'll receive your Student Adventure Pass directly to your mobile to your mobile app wallet.

Grab your phone and valid student ID and you're good to go!
