Orange Coast College's UndocuScholar's program will host events during the 6th annual "Undocumented Student Action Week" (USAW) on Oct. 17th-21st. During this week of action, community colleges across the state engage in activities in solidarity with undocumented students.  OCC students are be invited to attend events on campus 

During Undocumented Student Action Week, the Chancellor's Office will be hosting a daily system webinar at 9:00 a.m. from October 17th-21st on critical policy frameworks and tools designed to support institutions with successful implementation of recent undocumented student policy reforms. These webinars will include topics such as a review of statewide policies, data collection and use, and innovative use of funds. Orange Coast College UndocuScholars and Allies, join us kick off Undocumented Student Action Week with our UndocuArt collective. This event is geared towards providing our students with a DACA update after the recent Fifth Circuit’s decision. We want to have a supportive campus community for our DACA recipient students while also providing them with resources available to them.We will also be facilitating mental health resources, tools for destressing and snacks!

UndocuAlly Training (Online)

Become an undocu-ally! Our goal is to increase awareness and support for our undocumented/mixed status scholars by offering a training through our community partner CHIRLA. Immigrant Day of Action (Online)

In celebration of Immigrant Day of Action, the Dream Resource Program has partnered up with CHIRLA (https://www.chirla.org/) where they will offer general information on their services as well as a free walk-in Legal Clinic. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to participate in a one-on-one legal consultation. Walk-ins are on first come first serve basis, however those who do not get to participate in the legal clinic that same day will receive a follow up invitation for another day. Please note under "Questions/Comments" (RSVP) if you would like to sign up for consultation ahead of time.
