The UndocuSholars program at OCC offers:
- T extbook and Transportation Support
- Dream Act Application Assistance
- Scholarship Application Assistance
- Community Resource and Campus Referrals
- A supportive community
- Access to a network of allies
- Referrals to Community Organizations who offer:
- Free Legal Consultation
- Deportation Defense
- Free or sliding scale health services
We define UndocuSholars as students who...
- Are driven by self-determination.
- Are relentless, dedicated, and consistent on their educational path.
- Embody joy, compassion and strength.
- Sometimes have DACA.
- Other times not...
- Are always entitled to the same rights as all students.
- Can apply for in state tuition and aid if they attended a California high school, adult school or community college.
Any student at OCC can access free immigration legal services without needing to be in the UndocuScholars program. Book an appointment here. Select Orange Coast College as your campus before proceeding forth with creating an appointment and receive assistance with any of the following: Legal Consultations to Screen for Immigration Relief, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals, Family-based petitions, Naturalization/Citizenship applications.
