What is The Hub?
The heart of the Hub is a caring group of student assistants, professional experts, and student services professionals dedicated to our student's success! The team also responds to Starfish flags and concerns to better connect students to campus resources and support.
The Hub is guided by 3 principles:
- Fostering relationships
- Building skills
- Sharing resources
Whether you are a first-time college student or have been at OCC for a while, The Hub is here to support you in any way we can, and if we don't have the answer, we can connect you with someone who does!

SEMESTER HOURS
Mon, Tues, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Wed, Thurs, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Fri, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
How Do We Support Students?
Our Student Assistants and Professional Experts offer drop-in assistance and provide 1-on-1 support in order to meet students exactly where they are at, listen first, and coach second. Key areas of support include:
- Registration Guidance
- Assistance with forms, applications, and processes
- Connecting and navigating campus resources
- Skills building - writing emails, self-advocacy, time management, etc.

- If you are a current student or considering becoming one, stop by! We'd love to talk to you about how OCC can support your educational pathway.
- If you're a faculty member, we'd love for you to see what we do so you can feel comfortable referring your students to us!
