When you enter the Hub, you will be greeted at the front desk. We will then ask you for your student ID and thereason you are visiting the Hub so we can check you in. You will need to provide your student ID card to receive Hub services.
Yes! You will need to provide your student ID card when you check-in at the front desk to access our services. If you don't yet have your student ID card, we will take another photo ID (like state-issued driver's license or ID) to check you in.
You do not need to make an appointment! Just check-in at the front desk and take a seat. We help students on a first come, first served basis.
Although we will not physically fill out any forms/applications for you, we will offer you guidance and advice as you navigate each page of the form. Our goal is to help you learn to navigate these on your own. Trust us, these skills come in handy!
The Hub provides Google Chromebooks for all students who request a device, but they can only be used inside the Hub, to ensure that we have enough inventory to assist all students. We do not allow students to check-out chrome books to be taken home or outside our space.
We're glad that you're building relationships on campus! Yes, you can certainly make requests like these, and we'll do our best to honor them. However, due to scheduling, availability, and other factors, your preferred Hubster may be unavailable. Rest assured that we will have another peer mentor or success coach available to help you. All of our staff are extraordinary individuals who are ready to help.
All students are welcome to use the Hub as a quiet study space. When you check-in at the front desk, just let us know you are here to study.
