Health and Wellness Center

Our Mission

The Wellness Center is dedicated to fostering holistic well-being by providing a comprehensive range of services and resources to support all students. Our mission is to enhance students' understanding of healthy behaviors and encourage active engagement in practices that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. With a strong focus on prevention and empowerment, we aim to inspire individuals to make informed, sustainable lifestyle choices that contribute to their overall well-being and academic success.

About Us

The Health and Wellness Center is a new program being offered to all students, faculty and staff at Orange Coast College.  To support our mission statement, we have collaborated with several departments campus wide in order to provide hands on experience and training opportunities to students in various internship programs. This includes:

  • Yoga classes taught by our students in the Yoga Teacher Training Program
  • Nutrition workshops led by students in our Nutrition and Dietetics Program
  • Personal training by students in our Fitness Specialist Training Program
  • Wellness events hosted by student clubs
