2026 Summer Refreshers
Join us in the OCC Math Center to brush up on your math skills right before your Fall 2026 classes begin!
This Summer, from June 8 to August 14, the OCC Math Center proudly presents Summer 2026 Math Refreshers. This is a lab-based Math Refresher aimed to prepare students for their upcoming math course in the Fall 2026 semester.
The Math Refreshers:
- Multiple start dates are available
- Up to 10 weeks of review sessions
- Up to 40 sessions available, up to 4 hours per session
- Monday-Thursday: 10 AM -2 PM, June 8 to August 14
- Instructor: Huyvu Phan (6/8-8/14) and Syed Hussain (6/22-8/14)
- Lab-based format with tutoring support
- Workshops on selected topics
- Attend as many sessions as you need to be prepared for your Fall 2026 math class
- All meetings will be in the Math Center in MBCC 218
- If you have a laptop, please bring it to all sessions.
- All resources are completely free for OCC students
- This is intended for students registered in Fall 2026 for
- Math A100: Liberal Arts Math
- Math A115: College Algebra
- Math A120: Trigonometry
- Math A140: Business Calculus
- Stat C1000: Statistics
- Math A170: Pre-Calculus
- Math A180+: Calculus 1 and above

- Step 1: Please complete the following interest form. You will be contacted by the Math Center staff with more information about the refreshers.
- Step 2: Logon to MyCoast and add the desired Math Skills course using one of the CRN listed below.
- CRN 12419 - Math A060N Refresher for Liberal Art Math/Stats (Math A100/Stat C1000) - Arithmetic Review
- CRN 12421 - Math A061N Refresher for College Algebra (Math A115) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12422 - Math A062N Refresher for Trigonometry (Math A120) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12423 - Math A064N Refresher for Business Calculus (Math A140) - Algebra Review
- CRN 12424- Math A067N Refresher for Precalculus (Math A170) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review for Precalculus
- CRN 12425- Math A068N Refresher for Calculus (Math A180 and Above) - Algebra and Trigonometry Review for Calculus or review Calculus 1 preparing for Calculus 2.
- Step 3: Attend one of the scheduled Math Refresher Orientations to start your Summer Refresher.
