OCC THEATRE WILL HOLD COMBINED OPEN AUDITIONS FOR BOTH SPRING 2026 MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS ON FEBRUARY 3rd AND 4th.

ROLES ARE OPEN FOR BOTH:

TWELFTH NIGHT -THE MUSICAL (opening March 20)

AND

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (opening May 8)

ACTORS CAN BE IN BOTH PRODUCTIONS

Rehearsals:

Mondays-Fridays 7:00pm-10:30pm    Feb 6- Mar 13 for Twelfth Night   /    Apr 6-May 1 for Midsummer.

Twelfth Night, the Musical    

William Shakespeare, Shaina Taub and Kwame Kwei-Arma 

Shakespeare’s comic masterpiece of mistaken identity and romance comes alive in a brilliant new adaptation featuring a scintillating original jazz-funk score by Shaina Taub and Kwame Kwei-Arma.

Directed by Mike Peebler, Musical Direction by Jared Scott III, Choreography by MJ Wolfe

ALL ROLES: Open Auditions in the OCC Drama Lab Theatre are February 3 and 4, 7pm- 10:30pm.

Callbacks for Twelfth Night the Musical are February 5 at 7pm. Callbacks for A Midsummer Night's Dream are February 9 at 7pm.

 Twelfth Night the Musical rehearsals: Monday - Friday 7pm - 10:30pm. Friday Feb. 6, 2026- March 13, 2026. 

Techs: Mar. 14, 16.17.28.19. 

Performances: March 20, 21, 22, 27 & 28 at 7:30pm. March 29 at 2:30pm.

 All Twelfth Night-the Musical actors will be required to enroll in "Musical Theatre Rehearsal and Performance", a 3-unit OCC class.

ENROLLMENT IS BY AUDITION ONLY. Please do not enroll before auditioning.

OCC welcomes you back for more Shakespeare comedy this spring as we travel into the enchanted woods with this beloved tale of the power of love, of mischief and of magic!

ALL ROLES: OPEN AUDITIONS: February 3 & 4, 2026, 7:00pm - 10:30pm in the OCC Drama Lab Theatre

Callbacks for A Midsummer Night's Dream are Monday, February 9th 7:00pm - 10:30pm

All Midsummer actors will be required to enroll in "Comedy Rehearsal and Performance", a 3-unit OCC class.   

ENROLLMENT IS BY AUDITION ONLY. Please do not enroll before auditioning

Rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream: Monday - Friday 7-10:30pm, Monday April 6- May 1.  Techs: May 2,4,5,6,7.  Performances are May 8, 9, 10, 15 & 16 at 7:30pm and May 17 at 2:30pm.

OCC REPERTORY (The Rep) student-directed productions:

To be part of any REP production you must first be enrolled in the 3-unit class OCC Theatre Repertory (THEA A131, A132, A133 or A134), or enrolled in Directing (THEA A275 or A285). 

This is the 40th season of the OCC Rep! REP students can act, direct, write, design, do technical work, publicity and any other of the many tasks required to stage a full season of Rep plays every year. Enrolled students audition for acting roles, all other Rep jobs are voluntary.

OCC Rep meets Mondays 5:00pm to 6:50pm plus many arranged hours. Acting rehearsals are typically Tue- Thur 5:00- 6:50. 

Rep will produce three productions in Spring 2026- enroll to be a Rep Member!
