IN-PERSON HOURS
In-person drop-in counseling is limited and hours subject to change based on availability (contact the Transfer Center to confirm in-person hours). Drop-in counseling is limited to ten minutes and is appropriate for general questions only. Students will be attended to on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I speak with someone during virtual drop-in counseling?
Please remember drop-in counseling is for brief questions which do not require looking at individual transcripts and records. *Please note hours and counselor availability subject to change. To speak with a transfer counselor during virtual drop-in hours, please follow the steps below.
Students must log-in from a computer (not a smartphone) and use Google Chrome or Firefox browsers as student may experience technical issues.
- Click the "Transfer Center Virtual Drop-in" tab during active virtual hours indicated above. You will need to agree to the Informed Consent Statement before using the Online Counseling Services at Orange Coast College.
- After you agree to the Informed Consent Statement, click the login button to access ConexEd via your MyCoast credentials (COAST username and password).
Important Information:
The Transfer Center offers appointments on campus a virtually via Zoom. Appointment may be scheduled every THURSDAY starting at 9 a.m. for the following week.
After booking, students MUST check their OCC Student Email for appointment information. Failure to check your email may result in you missing your appointment..
How do I book an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, start here . You will be redirected to the OCC Transfer Center's Appointment Scheduling webpage. Enter your MyCoast SSO student identification number (ex. C0XXXXXXX) and birthday login button to enter. An Informed Consent Statement will appear and students will need to select "Agree" in order to move forward.
