Veterans

**Veteran Programs**

WARRIOR SCHOLAR Program	Free tuition, room and board, books and materials included with admissions into a two-week intensive "bootcamp" program at America's top colleges such as Harvard, Princeton, University of Arizona, Yale, and USC.	Active duty servicemen and veterans. No prior Bachelor's degree. (Note: program is designed for those who are intending to transition from military to school life in the near future, or who have recently made that transition and are still in the beginning stages of their college career.
Wells Fargo Veterans Scholarship	Varies	Honorable discharged with Certificate of Eligibility, High School or GED graduate who are enrolled or plan to enroll full-time at accredited institution for upcoming year, Pell grant eligible, using military education benefits in upcoming year, minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Google - Student Veterans of America	8 awards of $10,000	(below, plus additional requirements) Be pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university in the United States for the 2020-2021 academic year Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four-year university for the 2019-2020 academic year
Veterans of Foreign Wars Grant	up to $1,500	One of the following: Active duty, whose financial hardship is a result of a current deployment, military pay error, or from being discharged for medical reasons. Discharged on or after September 11, 2001, whose financial hardship is a direct result of your military service connected injuries and/or illnesses. Discharged prior to September 11, 2001, are on a fixed income that must include VA compensation for a service connected injury/illness and facing an unexpected financial hardship.
THOUGHTCLOUD Foundation	Varies	Veteran
Eagle Community Credit Union - Veteran Scholarship	up to $750	Must be an existing member or open a new membership with Eagle upon receiving award.
RAYTHEON - Student Veterans of America	$10,000 (2 awards)	Be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate study, or be enrolled in a graduate program for the current academic year Be attending full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. Demonstrate a commitment to and passion for their chosen field of study Demonstrate leadership and engagement in their community
Bob Woodruff Foundation	Varies	Transitioning service members and veterans who are interested in careers in financial intelligence.

Army Emergency Relief	Varies	Spouses and Children of Soldiers who are on Active Duty, are Retired, or Active on Title 10 Orders for the entire academic year are eligible to apply for our scholarship programs.
Dolphin Scholarship Foundation	$2,000/$3,400	Child or spouse of a member or former member of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force, plus additional requirements.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation	Varies	Child of one of the following (plus, additional requirements): Active duty or reserve U.S. Marine Veteran U.S. Marine who has received an honorable discharge, or who was killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps Active duty or reserve U.S. Navy Corpsman who is serving, or has served, with a U.S. Marine unit Veteran U.S. Navy Corpsman who served with a U.S. Marine unit and has received an honorable discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman attached to a Marine unit

Veteran Hero Scholarship	$5,000	Veteran or dependent with 3.0 GPA
Gilman-McCain Scholarship	$5,000 for undergraduate child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs.	Receiving a Federal Pell Grant or will be during the term of their study abroad program/internship, plus additional requirements.
Study.Com	$500	Applicants should be a child of a current or former member of the United States military. This includes the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident. Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year. Graduating high school seniors who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply. Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed. Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Study.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.

CSULB - Summer Bridge to the Beach (for STEM transfers)	$5,000 stipend	Transfer student currently enrolled at another 2-year institution Acceptance to and enrollment at CSULB Declared major in the College of Engineering or the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics once at CSULB Hispanic/Latino or Pell Grant eligible U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen Available during program dates Committed to participate in an EXCEL learning community during the Fall semester following program participation.
