• Who can help me with the noncredit application?

  The Adult Education Office can help you with the noncredit application and assist with related questions. Assistance in Hmong, Spanish and Vietnamese are available. Please visit the Adult Education Office (located in building #150, room C&L 117) or contact the office for assistance at (714) 432-6897. 

• What application should I complete if I want to enroll in both noncredit and credit courses?

  Students planning to enroll in both noncredit and credit courses should complete the credit CCCApply application.

• How do I register for noncredit classes?

  Once your application is processed, you will receive an acceptance email (to the email you provided on your application) with information about how to log onto your MyCoast Portal. Please follow the instructions in the acceptance email. Once you have accessed your MyCoast account, you can register for classes.

  If you would like assistance with the application or registration process, please contact the Adult Education Office. 

• Do I have to pay for noncredit classes?

  Students do not pay enrollment or other fees for noncredit classes, but are responsible for textbooks and other class materials fees, if any are required for the class. Students must also pay for on-campus parking.

• How do I know if a class is noncredit or credit?

  Noncredit classes have zero units. Credit classes have units associated with them. You can view the unit(s) of each course by reviewing the Course Catalog.

• When will I receive my student ID?

  You will receive an email with your student ID number to the email address you provided in your noncredit application. If you would like a student ID card, please visit the Enrollment Center in Watson Hall at OCC. You will need to bring a copy of your Class Schedule (Web Schedule Bill) and a government-issued form of photo identification (such as driver's license or passport.) If you have questions, please call the Enrollment Center at (714) 432-5072.

• How do I get my class schedule?

  After you have registered for classes, you can access your Class Schedule (Web Schedule Bill) for the term on your MyCoast portal.

  If you would like a full list of all the classes that you have completed at Orange Coast College, your Unofficial transcripts are accessible via your MyCoast portal account. Click on the "Discover More" button on the bottom of the page. Search for "Transcripts" or look for the "Transcripts" card. Click on the link below "View Unofficial Transcripts".
